The Content & Digital Library Systems Student Assistant will provide assistance to staff and librarians of the Content and Digital Library Systems department, including the Cataloging & Metadata unit and Digital Projects unit. Students will be trained on the technology and processes that are used to manage new and existing materials in the library’s collection. This includes processing materials for cataloging, scanning archival material and entering associated data so that the material can be made available online, and describing materials for Union’s web collections.

Union College (Schenectady, New York) seeks applicants for a one-year visiting position at the assistant professor level. We seek socio-cultural candidates who can teach courses on environmental anthropology and who would also be able to offer courses in some of the following areas: indigeneity, environmental justice, economic anthropology, Science and Technology Studies, Religion and Environmentalism, anthropology of food, and global health.
