Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience, with three to five years of clerical work experience, preferably in an academic or related work environment.
  • Proficiency in software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and PowerPoint. 
  • Previous web maintenance experience, experience with Colleague, and general database applications are a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage multiple competing priorities. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for positive interaction with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students and parents.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative & budget support for assigned committees and Academic Affairs directors.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage email accounts.
  • Manage faculty information lists and databases.
  • Serve as a liaison between Academic Affairs and other campus offices.
  • Ongoing training and communication resulting from changes in regulations, process and/or workflow changes.
  • Provide orientation, training, and supervision of work-study students.
  • Order office supplies and process office payments.
  • Proactively assist others on the team as needed.
