The Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the Phonathon program and building a culture of student philanthropy on campus. They are also responsible for recruiting/training/managing student and alumni volunteers as needed and will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to meet alumni and constituent giving goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse population, strong interpersonal skills, and be an articulate written and verbal communicator. The Coordinator reports to the Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving. Some travel is required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 1-2 years fundraising experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary. Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Enthusiastic and energetic with the capability of motivating others to top performance. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Commitment to a liberal arts education and capable of articulating a persuasive, passionate case for support. Training and supervisory experience preferred. Volunteer management experience preferred.
