The Dining Service Lead follows HACCP guidelines while performing all supervisory jobs in the kitchen and dining room areas. Responsibilities include:

  • Opening and closing the kitchen
  • Supervising and assisting morning set up with staff
  • Cooking and/or baking duties for daily operation
  • Organizing and ordering of a variety of foods from a number of vendors
  • Assisting manager with production meetings
  • Handling all serving aspects during meal times
  • Training or assisting new employees
  • Handling managerial tasks in the absence of managers
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Concessions supervision during parts of the school year

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and minimum 2 years supervisory experience is required (A two year degree in Culinary Arts or Dining Service Administration and supervisory experience preferred). Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions. Candidates should be safety conscious and able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
