The Associate Director of AOP/HEOP will work to establish effective policies and procedures for program administration, related activities and services in their areas of responsibility.  Duties include: providing academic advising for a case load of approximately 50 students; supervising and coordinating our recruitment and admissions efforts; planning and implementing the five-week AOP Summer Program; helping to coordinate alumni outreach initiatives; and assisting with required HEOP reports and assessment efforts.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 1-3 years experience with access programs designed for underprepared and/or underrepresented students.  Master's degree preferred.  Candidates should possess demonstrated skills in advising and presenting/public speaking.  A commitment to promoting the value of diversity and to student success is a must. Candidate must be proficient in using software for data collection and program assessment.
