The Director manages and leads the Enterprise Applications team in enabling effective enterprise use of systems. This position is responsible for overseeing the enterprise environment, including applications, integrations, contracts, upgrades, support and troubleshooting. The Director coordinates with a diverse group of business unit stakeholders and technical partners to develop services, provide solutions, document procedures and resolve technical issues, in addition to ensuring data integrity with the business areas and Institutional Research. This position will also be responsible for supporting and managing the technical applications architecture, data standards and governance, including ensuring regulatory compliance (GDPR, FERPA, PCI, State, Federal, etc). The Director will participate in the College’s development of strategy, processes, skills and operational practices for the support of cloud-based software applications and their interaction with the premises-based applications. In addition, this position is responsible for the management of the Enterprise Applications staff, including hiring, mentoring, assigning, supervising activities, support and performance evaluation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Science or related field. Minimum of 7 or more years of progressive experience working in one or more of these technical areas: software development, system implementation, system integration, applications security, application administration, or technology project management. At least 2 years of project management experience. In-depth knowledge of how to apply technologies to meet business needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide services to a diverse group of student and faculty clients. Must have the ability to communicate and work with people of all levels of technical ability. Knowledge of principles and techniques of complex systems analysis, database design/management with experience in virtualization and cloud services. Knowledge of workflow analysis, techniques and modeling. Knowledge of current technology landscape, especially ERP platforms. Ability to manage a portfolio of projects and tasks simultaneously and at a high level of quality. Experience in managing contracted services, including negotiations, agreements and service delivery. Ability to work in, promote and support a diverse and inclusive community. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience in a service-oriented environment. Experience with Ellucian Colleague (Unidata) desired.
