The Becker Career Center at Union College is seeking an Assistant Director of Employer Relations.  The Assistant Director will lead and manage the communication and logistical details of employer, alumni, networking consortium events and site visits; develop and present workshops and programs; provide individual instruction on the fundamentals of job or intern search strategies; and review, modify and maintain the student marketing plan. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the Becker Career Center's social media presence, managing the collection and analysis of first-destination graduate data, and participating in campus community outreach efforts.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required with 1-3 years of employment experience preferred; Excel and Social Media skills desired. Candidates must be familiar with the profile of the Union College student, must be able to manage event details effectively. Candidates must also have excellent interpersonal skills, including the presence and poise needed to interact and develop rapport with a diverse group of individuals and have effective public speaking and presentation skills. Must also be able to travel, and work weekends and evenings as required.
