The Department of Economics at Union College invites applications for a full-time tenure track position, beginning September 1, 2019. We are looking for candidates whose research specializes in 1) Macroeconomics and monetary economics, 2) International Economics, and Financial Economics and who have strong interests in teaching macroeconomics courses. The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. by September 1, 2019, an established record of teaching excellence and a strong research program.

Union College is a highly selective liberal arts college located in the Capital Region of the State of New York and offers highly competitive salary and benefits. Our teaching load is six courses over three ten-week terms per year, up to two of which may take the form of supervision of undergraduate theses. A faculty member normally teaches four classroom courses and supervises eight two-term senior theses per year.
