Responsibilities include: coordinating and monitoring compliance with federal and state higher education data reporting requirements and other regulatory agencies (NYSED, IPEDS, CICU requests, etc.), establishing and implementing short- and long-range goals, policies, and operating procedures to continuously improve the quality, availability and efficiency of gathering and sharing data, supporting and providing data for College accreditation and institutional effectiveness initiatives, providing support for College planning and outcomes assessment efforts, administering surveys that provide assessment and campus climate information, analyzing and interpreting meaning, value and impact of data, and working with campus data owners in developing and maintaining data sources and databases that support the College’s mission and strategic plan.

Preferred qualifications include: a Master’s degree (candidates with an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience will also be considered), 5-7 years directly related experience with at least three years’ work experience in a higher education  setting, and experience with databases, query methods and statistical software (e.g. Colleague, SPSS and Excel).    Candidates should also have demonstrated knowledge of data collection, analysis, reporting and presentation methods and a leadership style that conveys a high level of integrity, courtesy, service, teamwork and support to colleagues.
