The Administrative Coordinator will manage all administrative functions of the AOP/HEOP Office.  Duties include maintenance and monitoring of the budget in relation to assigned responsibilities; assisting Director with bi-annual New York State Education Department reports; maintaining and updating shared files on common folder; collaborating with Assistant Director on operation of pre-freshmen summer program; supervision of student employees; maintenance of AOP/HEOP website and social media sites; event planning; management of records, operational calendars, and confidential files.  The Administrative Coordinator will also contribute to broader efforts in Academic Affairs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • 1 – 2 years of office experience required, preferably in an educational environment. 
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point.  Familiarity with Google applications.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to complete projects with little or no supervision. 
  • A commitment to promoting the value of diversity and to student success is a must.
